I have always written a post everytime I am done with the semester since the 5th (I guess). Just to conclude and sum up whatever things I did on that particular sem.

I forgot to do it until I read back my 8th sem post. and so we go…

FPS 2, time for production, shooting, cutting, editing, refining. got a bit of hard time during shooting bcoz of the small place I got and bits of continuity problems.
to be honest I didnt like the end product of it, it’s mmm cheesy.
anyway surprisingly I got quite a good response during my internal presentation and expectedly I got screwed for my external one, bcoz of the guest assessor .
Not that fun for this one.

Industry practice. I got to work for 8TV for a project called July Newbies. and it was on air for a month! :D
It is to show what are the new upcoming shows that is on 8TV in July.
We gotta go there twice a week, wednesday n friday (was it friday?) to meet with them n show progress. Good thing is that we didn’t need to stay at the office, but I did for 2 times, I stayed there n came back alone boo hoo.
It is fun though, the people are nice n friendly.
It’s a nice place to work just that it is too small and wayyyyy bloody cold!

Graduation campaign.
what can i say for this… I got voted for the Assistant head spot for PR n EO. below Jiavoon and Chee Sang which are the Deputy head and the Head respectively.
Our campaign name for this batch was Pixels 78. the idea came from Jared and the concept is pretty much like; we are like pixels. one pixel might do nothing, but combined together we can produce such high quality resolution on, anywhere.
WELL. so many things to do, we got the Garage Sale, Eco Week, ACG (Anime Comic Games) Week, Caricature at Sunway Pyramid, etc. the last 2 were the ones that’re unforgettable for me.

this subject was fun at first, and supposed to be fun. but bcoz of some PEOPLE in the committee or outside of it that only TALKED without any ACTION that made it so much worse. tensions rising up. blood all over the place. and IDIOTS everywhere.
yeah, IDIOTS. that’s a good word for them. or him. fucking a no brainer. ga ada otak.
and FAKE. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I COULD CHEW MY ASS OFF AND MADE OUT WITH A DOG!!!!!!!!
whatever man. I jus dont have respect for u and ur friends. and i dont talk to people i dont respect. for me u guys dont exist. even unicorns seem more real to me.

we had our opening ceremony on the 24th Aug 2010. around 7pm.
we all dressed up, it was actually the first time I saw EVERYONE dressed up nicely together in toa lol. we are zombies for most of the time, no social life.
and it was so nice, we said hi to each other, we talked, it’s just like as if we all just met. we took so many pictures. we want the memories to be kept forever :D
happy and in the same time sad n scary. time flies!
3 years have gone by, all the ups and downs, all the arguments, all the tears as a result of the massive workload (not me), the depressions… it’s just, done. that’s it!

people are now going on their own ways. some have already started working. some are waiting to go for further study (ME!)
we are going to be separated.

I am finally leaving Malaysia, I still remember how I cant wait to get the hell out of here. how I dont like some of the things here, even the people around, just hating it haha. but then after 4 years I’d be mad if I wont be missing the times I had spent here.

I have met SO MANY new friends here. many new people as well (thanks for grad. campaign). some people are assholes but most of them are nice and some left a huge impact on me that I dont think I will forget for a long long long time.
just like childhood memories, no matter how old u are u’ll still feel a twinge.

thus just like the saying people are brought just to be separated in the end. all good things come to an end eh? for a new beginning of course :)

OH YEAH, this sem I didnt add anymore piercing, didnt do crazy hairstyles. just pretty normal.
umm bought ticket to newcastle for 16 September flight. that is 2 more weeks left.
went to apply the visa for uk, waited for hours, n i went there for 3 times! 3 times waiting! but i saw lots of hmmmmmm people. interesting people. so its okay.
now im waiting for my UK visa to be approved, then only I can go back to indonesia (coz my malaysian visa expires on the 11th), and come back here again, and then UK.
nervous n excited! my european dream is soooooooo close now.

been hanging out so much with my malaysian friends, FUTSAL EVERY TUESDAY (no more). kampar, ipoh, malacca, kuala selangor in within one week time. and theyre planning to go to penang next week, i dunno if i can go.
i will never forget the dare i did lol. “ure fucking sexy” XDDDDD

this semester is pretty exciting n crazy, and at times SAD. unstable, mixed feelings and shit haha
finally went for clubbing! can u believe thaaat, me, go clubbing! after so long being in a place thats surrounded by clubs I guess thats pretty lame lol

anyway… when some things in ur past that u need to forget but u cant but u have to move on with ur own life, u say this..

i usually do this on blogger, kinda a tradition every end of the sem but oh well, im gonna copy paste to it later.. so yeah

yesterday I had finally done my presentation which ends the mark of 3rd year 2nd sem.
didnt sleep before the presentation, and after i went to pc fair. awake for 30hrs, then i crashed for almost 12 hrs :D
another tough tough tough sem, probably the toughest one so far!

so HMMM okay whats the highlights for this sem..
i got my tragus pierced on 14 march i guess?
chinese new year on valentine’s day. the quietest week ever, i was home alone for like 10 days probably..

FPS 1 ————— IDEA IDEA IDEA got stressed up by this. luckily something jolts my brain at the right time, and luckily im doing video! and luckily i dropped the idea of website. u know im not really a website guy nor interactive one. but overall it’s a pretty enjoyable subject, better than dsm 3 though

advancd web design, SATURDAY CLASS IS A NO NO!!! and it’s a big class in a small n congested room. kinda hard to concentrate, and the thing, it’s saturday! psychologically it’s the day when thinking is a crime. my brain doesnt wanna do that but i forced him to focus on php, xml, wordpress, local host„etcetcetc .. poor brain

my friend jus told me that she went to central market (thats in malaysia) and she saw the bag that she bought in indonesia is being sold thre (i hv another frend that has tat similar bag, she bought it in, obviously, indonesia)

, it’s a batik textured bag.. and she said that they said it was made in malaysia (im not trying to argue over whats the origin of batik coz theyre shared cultures in many countries).

anyway, my friend’s bag looks like that in the pic. it has indonesian batik textures, earth tone, weird

patterns, blablabla, thats definitely an indonesian batik. BCOZ malaysian batik doesn look like tat, it has different patterns and colors, theyre more colorful n brighter.

so i gotta write this earlier, since im in lab.

anyway, 3rd year 1st sem is over. wow, 2 more sems to go. who couldve imagined, seems like yesterday i was jus writing my last sem closing post.

okay,,,, this sem...hmm well i got a helix piercing 9/10. new imac woohoo 23/11. anddd well...

oh oh oh FFF2009. freedom film festival :D we got into that hohoho

branding in new media, we did must kiss lips za lipstick...mmmmm i guess, its okay? not that satisfied though, but,,, mmm okay

dsm 3.. in this class rite now, waiting for the group and individual evaluation, wahhhh gik dong ooooooo zzzz.. anyway, i dunno how is it, but as for the exhibition part and everything it was okay, again, not satisfied, but okay. although i kinda like my 1st project about smell. that was fun.
*edited* screwed up lol. first project which is smell, i did well. for the 2nd one, which is the prototype, the project one, totally totally screwed. dammmmdamdamn. totally pulled down the 1st project mark. and well, i expect this subject to get really sucky mark, i dunno, D? C? such a shame , but anyway i gotta deal with that fact and move on and learn from the experience. at least she said i passed. AND seriously try to analyze my self, on my weaknesses, my bad attitudes, etc, etc.... gotta deal with that shit. have to be better on group work. serioussssslyyyyyyyyy.

motion. haiz, im doin on indonesian dances, kindaaaa mmmmmm well okay XD everything seems to be okay only, satisfied? not sure, maybe? considering the given time. but still, i know i can do better, but what can i do? i still have to concentrate on other projects.

3d. tomorrow for final presentation, cannon, arsenal. modelling part, pretty fun. animating one,,, mmmm it's very normal for me.

advanced video, yeah, this is the most fun and exciting. had a screening yesterday. 8 dec 2009.
the feedback from lects are pretty positive, that was kinda a surprise for me. didnt sleep before the presentation/screening day, totally tired.
our short film title is 'esc' . im the co director, but also on the scrpit, editing, sound, designing the poster n credits part. the poster down there. its quality dropped. kinda. the color and stuff, but anyway yeah there it is. this , as far as i can remember, by far, the most fun group ive ever been. at least everyones doing their work. and they did well. reallllllly had fun, (maybe), during shooting. challengingggggggg, but thats what this life for hohoho.
ugh, the factory scene shooting day, it was SUPERNOVA HOT outside. literally burned my skin. face hands everything became dark dfkl;jfgg. but im surviving :)

and um, im goin back on 11 dec, 5:10pm flight, be back here on the 3rd jan.

um, pretty confusing sem, for my mmmm uknowlife. some has been really gooooood to me, but...anywayyyyyyyyyyyyy.

wuhu finally ive done my web design presentation this afternoon (or, yesterday afternoon) , that sums up all for this sem.
didn't have proper sleep for daysssss, and been staying over in Joel's place haha, thanks a lot to Joel to let us stay.

3 cups of coffee in a day, and 2 cans of redbull the other day

i was so sleepy even during the presentation and i took a "nap" for 8hrs something after that.nice.
and then watched transformers2..sucks for me.

well.. exciting, fun, sleepless nights. one of the busiest sems ever, basically all my time was consumed for photography and video ESPECIALLY xD

(and i got a lip piercing this sem! xD.. wonder what's next for next sem)

Hide & Seek, my group documentary film title. im the director (nice)... kinda.
anyway it's a documentary about the refugees, esp refugees from Myanmar. it opened our eyes more about the lives of them and how lucky we are in this life. i say, stop fuckin complaining about ur life when u have MORE THAN ENOUGH..and yea, for princesses..please wake up and open ur eyes aka stop being a bitch

Project Definition

I was a given a task to redesign a commercial website that was given randomly and I got Pathlab (www.mypathlab.com).
Pathlab is a healthcare centre that was established in 1952. They have 50 branches throughout Peninsular and East Malaysia.
I have to study their existing website and its target audience to propose a new concept to enhance the website.

I have to create at least 8 HTML pages, that shows at least 3 levels of content structure.
I am given 8 weeks to do this project.
I'm not allowed to change the logo and the identity, and to reposition the brand.

Current Site's Analysis Goals

The website is supposed to attract people to go there and do something like a medical check up, health-based. And they have an online community for us to join, it is called Pathlab Online Community (e-Pal). If you are a member of it, you can get online promotions or vouchers from them.
They have this flash banner showing that you can get free cholesterol test but only applicable for online members, which I think they should do this kind of promotion more.

They also have some services and products, the services include health screening package and golden premium healthcare membership programme. For the products they have health supplements, named Groway.

They should really update their site more often for people to trust them and wanting to join the e-Pal more, because it is written down there year 2005. Which means it was 4 years ago that either it was the year the website was created or the last time they updated it.
If it was me I will have doubts by looking at it, because it somehow shows that they are not that serious to serve people. Even simple and small changes need to be made to get trusts from people.

Client's Analysis

Short & Long-term Site Goals

For the short term one I think it will be better if they have more promotions like I mentioned before about they are having free cholesterol test if you are an e-Pal member. And I guess they should have like a seasonal campaign for a specific subject. For example we are having this swine flu thing at the moment, so they can do something like a just-in-case-test campaign for people that are having normal flu for free, maybe they can also have free talks from the doctors for people to be more aware and gain more knowledge about what is actually swine flu and how can we help to prevent getting one.
From there people can see they are actually really care about our health, and of course gain their trust because for a healthcare centre, trust from the people is very important.

And it can effect for the long-term as well once they have gained the people's trust.
They have this e-Pal thing as well which I think it is considered as to be one of the long-term goal. Give them promotions, vouchers, news about epidemic, well eventually diseases are something like a trend now (and I believe in the coming future as well) , so by giving them information about those "new" diseases, people will want to go and do some check up.

Target Audience

The target audience will be people who worries and cares about their health, those that want to live longer than any other people. The age range will be very wide even for small children I believe, because they have their parents to bring them there, and for old people as well. So it will be for families.

They can get news about the epidemic or diseases that is "popular" nowadays, they can join into the e-Pal, an online community so that they can get special promotions or vouchers, or maybe they can connect with other member and share some information.
They also have some nutrition advice from Chua Helen, a nutritional advisor, and they can ask questions from her as well.
They have the health section, some useful information to know more about cholesterol, diabetes, etc.

All of that can actually engage them to the site if they are really care about their health.

I jus can't believe it's already the end of the term, again.
I still remember clearly last term, when Joanne Kok told us, next term will be fun because we can learn something different which is HTML.
and here we are, end of the term, of the next term.
Just finished SEA test, so... left rendering and typo digital.
pretty relaxed.

I've been literally torturing myself this past 1 week. have been sleeping past 6am most of the time, really really pushing myself out of my limit. and well i guess it was all worth it xD great.

its been long long time ago since the last time i watched movie!in a cinema.
the last was Watchmen. omg. i need to pamper myself now..

its 11 april, which means 8 more days to my hometown. ya, it is so fast.

i can remember cleary chinese new year, when i was home alone and doing projects.
cut my own hair, and well..'mohawked' it.
did piercing on my ears.
i did a lot of stuff this term, coz it's boring. anyways.......................................................

i found out something this term, especially after the KL Design Week trip, that i dont like commercial designs. i dont like vector, anything aesthetic and people think it's beautiful, i think it's boring.
too many ppl can do it, and been doing it. so i feel that, so what if i do another vector. it will be the same.

i like something 'ugly', 'messy', ARTISTIC, out of the box, something dadaist.
well what can i do, at the end of the day i still need to go out to work, and of course they want something people can accept, mainstream.

talking bout KLDW, it was fun! fun fun fun. im sure for some people they know my reasons :p
we really should have that kinda trip again :D

anyways. this term has been pretty up and down. . . friday is my favourite day of the week, and i just realized it after some few weeeeks :p

1. We always think that we are better than the 'other' design uni.
Although, how can we be so sure?

2. We like to daydream what if we had taken other major rather than design. (Well at least for some MM students)

13. In my personal opinion, TOA designs (from the graduates, lecturers, or seniors) is too conservative and not modern enough..BORING!
What do we see always? Vector art, photoshop, illustration. When was the last time you see any TOA people did big installation arts, environmental arts, DADAISM (e.g Marcel Duchamp's Fountain, L.H.O.O.Q. ..trace back your history of art n design guys lol) , those out-of-the-box stuff that common people won't understand but actually it's ART.

I guess we are not daring enough.

Vegetarian Mission

We have this thing, more like a mission to become a vegetarian for 1 whole month starting Feb. So i'ts counted for 28 days only.

We are :

• Joyce (failed when she ate meat in face to face on the 5th, or 6th day? anyway it was less than one week)

• Yenshing (same with Joyce)

• Jia Yee (ate meat on the 2nd or the 3rd day? but anyway she continued until when she ate meat around 1 week / few days before the end of the month . . . failed)

• Jessica (exception: she can eat fish. succeeded I suppose)

• ME (of course I succeeded! didn't eat meat at all except for one 'har-beng'?? kerupuk gtu, prawn, but i didnt know it was prawn. and when Frendy's bday party, it's counted as special occasion and it was on the 27th feb anyway n there was no veggie!)

WOOHOO!

i knew i could do it. and lots of ppl doubt it. SOME ppl. and though they were the one who failed muahaha.

Let The Right One In vs. Twilight

I was kinda bored so I guess I'll write some reviews or comments or just something about those 2 vampire movies.

Let The Right One In or by the original title is Låt den rätte komma in is a Swedish vampire movie which tells a story about a 12 year-old boy that falls in love with a 12 year-old vampire girl.

and Twilight, which has the similar 'point', but this one the guy is the vampire, instead of the girl.

I'm NOT TRYING TO BE BIAS here, I don't take sides whatsoever even though I like Sweden more than the U.S, but yeap, no sides taken. I just voice out what I think about it, well I could be wrong.

Both movies are taken from books by the same title, one is by John Ajvide Lindqvist (Swedish), and the other one is by Stephanie Meyer.

I have watched both movies, ya although it is quite similar but both of them are totally different movies.
Different concept, meaning, delivery, and so forth and so forth.

One is more into reality and the other one is more into fantasy Harry Potter, Narnia kinda thing.
One is for adults, and the other one is for teenagers.

* Let The Right One In

in my opinion, first thing first, I love this movie, I watched it twice in a space of 3 days I guess, and I had to refrain myself to watch it further more because well, I'm waiting for it to come to Asia somehow (although I know it would never happen), and oh well, I can just wait for the DVD for some better quality.

The subtle, less dialogue, artistic scenes, with some perfect matched background music that make this movie so hard to forget. AND, the great thing about it is that it's not some typical Hollywood type of shooting (which I get bored of it).
Not much action in it, well.. it is a DRAMA/horror movie, so the movie is NOT for some typical 'normal people' that only look how good a movie is from one point of view, the actions.

Seriously I'm really fed up with those kind of people because they just don't get it. They don't get what is the purpose of a movie beside some intense scenes. It has MORE elements than that inside a film.
So for those that only enjoys watching movies like Transformers, I think this movie will be "boring" for you.

Anyway, moving on...
this movie has some nasty, bloody scenes, and the purring sound of Eli (vamp girl) makes me feel eerie, seriously.
Also, the emotions while watching this movie. You will feel pity for Oskar (the boy, which is bullied), the symphathy for him is there.
And for Eli as well, somehow.

This movie is going to be remade by Hollywood, and it's supposed to be out next year I guess. I wonder why they need to remake it. I just hope they don't fuck this piece of art into some mainstream bullshit.

ummm anyway I dont really know what to say anymore. so.... next

as I have mentioned, this movie is the type of teens movie.
High school, divorced parents (and I just realised that the parents in Let the right one in are divorced too xD), hot girl, hot guy :S

anyway, I enjoyed watching this movie, honestly, apart from the uncomfortable noises in the cinema. Some people are just meant to be noisy, and for no reason there is a guy beside me that kept laughing. Bastard.
And when Edward (the vamp guy) first appeared, the girls were like "ooooooooh"... I mean.. come on, grow up girls. Seriously. And it was disturbing, at least for me.

in my opinion,
this movie is a typical Hollywood work, mainstream. Yeap they have actions inside. Nice set. Nice house. Just good stuff for the eye to look at.
I think it's the kind of movie that will only make you feel "happy" and entertained enough, not much emotions involved here.
Not much to say for this one lol. But yeah, it is a pretty good movie for me.

It was in the morning breezy cold Sunday.

He was lying down on his bed, half naked feeling a bit nauseous. It must have been from the drinking last night, he thought.

It was 3.32PM, the sun was strong and asking for permission to come into his room, which he allowed it by opening up the curtain. The sun came in with an urge of greediness conquering the whole room.
The room was average sized, not too big, not too small. With one desk on the right corner, one wardrobe on the opposite side, one single-bed on the other corner.
It was neat enough.

He woke up from his bed, checking his mobile. No messages, no miss called. As usual, he thought.

He walked to his desk checking on his computer, two people called him on MSN. He closed the chat windows without even looking at the messages.
He turned on the song, loud.
It was one of his favourite song, the song that can accompany him for the rest of the day. An appetizer of the day, he thought.

He was shivering from the cold. The sun didn't seem to do much this time compared to the cold weather. It was 9 Celcius degrees. He wondered how could he even possibly survived the night without his clothes on. Must have been the drinking, he thought.

He was well prepared for what was to come in the next two days. But what he didn't know, it was no the ordinary.

Avenged Sevenfold concert @ Singapore, Max Pavilion.

A lot of people have asked me about the concert and i figured out i will just tell the story here lol
because it could be a long one.

I arrived at the Max Pavillion around 5pm, which means 3 hours before the concert and I can already see some fans even in the MRT station courtesy of the Avenged Sevenfold tshirt they used. (And i wonder where can i get those coz a lot of people there used it....duh....)
I saw TONS of people already waiting there, in groups, sitting, some are playing cards, eating, playing PSP, screaming @@, and stuff.

Most of them are local, whether singaporean or malaysian im not sure, male. but of course there were chinese as well, and surprisingly i saw some chinese girls in groups. wow.
they must be pretty cool to listen to A7X lol

so to make a long story short,
about 2 hours before the concert:
there was someone fighting. i saw a big guy punch a fat guy and the fat guy was owned in one punch. wow. well all of us were looking at them. and the big guy left the scene.

30 minutes later the guy came again, and this time he fought with another guy with some of the friends were trying to hold him back.
. . . . the security guard came and were trying to deal with him.
and so finally the problem was solved, he hugged the "enemy" and make a PEACE sign, and a METAL sign. everyone was cheering and clapping for him, and as for me i was just keep quiet and thought about it; it's bullshit.

about 1,30 hrs to go:
we were standing waiting to go in.
this is the worst part, we were like chickens waiting to be cut off and fried.
it was so so so crowded. i waited patiently, just stood there.
and the guys behind were very very crazy.
they sang some of the songs (the concert hasnt even started yet!) and well some of us sang along with them, and they even sang some national singaporean song maybe? i dont know coz it seems like everyone knows that song and they laughed but i was just, HUH???

bodybuilding. dancing. singing.

yea bodybuilding lol, we were pushing here and there to go in, man it was so crazy and wild.
anyway finally i was inside.YAY!
i got like 2 or 3 lines just infront of the front bar. so it was so close! i can see them clearly, yeah awesome!!!!

the concert was even wilder than the waiting part, of course~!
there was like 4 or 5 times that we were pushing here and there and i was trying so hard to keep my feet on the ground..literally keeping it on the ground.
and i saw some of the people were being brought off coz they couldn stand it anymore and i even saw one girl that was unconcious. no surprises with those kind of fans.

what else can i add... hmmm
well to conclude, it was the craziest concert ive ever been. and the first time that i was alone lol, not a problem, quite fun as well :D because when ure just one person u can just go infront and "cut" the line.

Avenged Sevenfold has the craziest fans ever!!!! well even M.Shadows said it himself, something like : "you guys were one of the craziest (or wildest) fans ever.....blabla.....i'd like to come here again...blabla...." something like that.

i bet they will come to singapore again, i mean i would if i were them. and when they do, i would surely go there and watch them again, this time i'll bring more spartans to go and we dine in hell!!!!!!!!!!!!

“The music and the song were so strong that any image trying to illustrate the lyrics too literally would have felt weak to me. I thought it needed to be a completely abstract visualization that left room for individual interpretation.”

Inspired by the Indian Hindu “Holi” festival, Luc Janin’s video for Stereophonics “You’re My Star” is an emotional journey with a colourful twist.

The “Holi” festival is an annual festival of colour and togetherness in India where people throw coloured powder and water at each other in huge street fights that lasts for hours. “The concept offered amazing photographic opportunities with the vibrant powders flying around, colouring people of different ages and appearances in a location full of textures. However I wanted there to also be an emotional core to this film rather than just being about a look”. By capturing a crowd of real people and allowing the audience to identify with and enjoy their varying expressions, reactions, and personalities, Luc’s ambition was to create a genuine emotional feel to the piece.

Casting 80 Indian extras of all ages and appearances was vital to creating an authenticity to the ‘event’. Annex Films undertook an extensive street casting process to secure a diverse mix of characters, diverse in ages, looks and sizes. The shoot was booked to take place in a one day shoot with two 16 mm cameras rolling to capture all the action.

The video starts in black and white, we see shadows hiding and moving around corners and passages as the band play oblivious in a street. The tensions build as we see groups of people running along streets, over fences and through doorways. The cold and aggressive atmosphere builds until the groups start throwing missiles into the air at each other across the band. Suddenly there is an explosion of colour in the air as the video literally moves from black and white into colour and the tense mood changes into jubilation and frivolity. Even the band can’t help but smile as an all out colour war envelopes them.

This was posted inside the 'Think About This' before, but I thought it's already out of topic, so I guess I separate them.

Maybe some of u, or I think a lot of people will think about taking a music major is a really stupid decision. Music cant and wont feed u whatsoever. Music is just for those that are not "talented" in school. Music is easy.
Let me get this straight, Music is NOT easy. It is not. Accounting, business, design, and stuff is easier than music.

Music is not just about writing a song and play it. no. It's about all the feel, the tones, the tempo, the emotion, the skill, and so much more. u don't just listen to some song and say : it's crap. because the song is not POP or has good and catchy tone.
u have to listen, and think all the details. how they actually do this? can u, urself do that? and why does the singer make this kinda song? stuff like that. u have to think behind the stage.

good tone is not a guarantee that it's a good song

okay for example.. drumming. maybe for some drummer out there, they still think that as long as u can do the beat well, then u're a good drummer. or maybe as long as u're fast, u know like those punk music, u're a good drummer. no no no.
I want to emphasize on the "speedster" drummer. Fast maybe can be cool for "normal" people. but if u're fast but u dont take care of the tone, ure just as well as a rookie drummer. u just hit all the toms. the snare, the crash and everything. it will just create NOISE not SOUND.
it's noisy, and we know that noisy is not a nice thing.,

okay sorry, back to topic. music is not as easy as it looks.

I had some experience when I was in ICOM, before i went there, i just play the drums without taking care of those things , the details.
but I got A LOT of experiences there, and yea it really improved my playing, and change my perception of music.
I remembered that time we were having a performance, and my lecturer told me to..: " on the verse part, don't hit the snare too hard. then when it get to the chorus part, hit it harder."
i mean, i know it doesnt really sound different anyway, coz its a very small detail that maybe they wont really notice, but yeah. it opened my eyes that actually music has SO MUCH small details that need to be taken care of.

hey there.

I had this thinking when I was taking my shower (I dont know why lol),
I thought about this current life, my life in TOA (the one academy), I compared it to my ICOM life and even my high school life back in my hometown.

well maybe it's high school, so we are quite free and quite careless about anything.
but when I was in ICOM, I feel that I am alive just like the high school time. Of course we had assignments as well, classes, practices, yeah I felt depressed too. though it's fun!
i still had my life. i still be able to swim or play futsal (football), having fun with friends, hanging out. I can do my hobbies there. and of course i'm not as cold or as emo as when I have moved to TOA.

yea and when I moved here, at first I still have the habit of having fun and stuff .. and I knew that if I do that, basically I'm dead here.
it's all about working here. work work and work.
after u finish PROJECT 1 which consumed u A LOT of time and energy, then PROJECT 2 is coming your way.
it's like u're thinking. YES! finally i have done my project, time to rest. but there is no rest here.

We have like 9 terms (or semesters) of never-ending assignments and projects.
and maybe after we finish here, when we're working, maybe it is the same life that u gonna get.

- briefing of projects
- thinking of ideas (sleep late or no sleep)
- proposing ideas ( if it's accepted)
- execute the work (sleep late or no sleep)
- presentation
then u get ur money.

and then another company, and u do it again, the same thing basically. over and over again.
and I'm sure, after we are in the working life, sleeping is like NOT important. finishing the project is more important. and we know it's very very bad for ur health.

yeah u get good money from it, but do u know how much hospital will cost u when u're finally sick.

yeah u can RETIRE AT THE AGE OF 38 ( after all those hard work, all those NO SLEEP TONIGHT, finally at the age of 38 u're as rich as a polar bear )
BUT what about all the side effects?

the principle of this life is : " There is always the SIDE effects and the consequences of EVERYTHING you do "
U GET RICH FAST, U DIE FAST.

so do u really want to be rich when ure young but of course u die faster, with no happiness and no social life. yeah u have money, with money comes power, with power comes everything.
but money can't get u ur social life, ur happiness, and most importantly ur loved ones, or ur family.

WE ARE NOT robots that are controlled by money are we?
ask urself, is work and money that important to u?

when u die, ur work and ur money wont grieve for u. but ur family and ur loved ones will lose their world forever.

..DO you really want this TOA life, forever?

or maybe IT IS this life that is THAT hard. well, i can say not really..
nowadays u can get rich easy. yes i mean easy without do much, u get a steady income. example? Internet. well that's not my point of this article. (article? lol), so im not goin to explain why internet.

to conclude,
LIFE is meant to be enjoyed and cherished each day. U appreciate every second of ur breath. u will never know that maybe later or tomorrow u will die.
take this life as a gift and not a curse.

oh well,
i guess we all know that we're now in the 2nd year of torturing, so far so good. we are still alive.

i can say last semester was pretty fun.,very fun maybe? lol
and all of us passed. (y)

it's the week 4, or week 3 of the 4th semester now.
a lot of combined classes compared to the previous sem.

anyways..... my term break holiday back in indo was pretty,,,,,boring.
at first it was, well quite fun i guess. slowly ..most of my friends are busy , stuff this and that. teenagers. lol.

on the 11th of June 2008 we were having a presentation for the project 1
and mine was a DISASTER!
I saved my pdf files without joining them together in one page or make into a slide.instead i saved it one page by one page.
and so they (the "computer" guys) couldn't just press RIGHT or LEFT key to go to the next picture. they have to open this page, and then close this page (something like that).

because in my laptop, even if i didnt save it in one page/make it into a slide, there's a RIGHT and LEFT button on that page, so we can easily navigate the pages, but somehow they didnt have it on my college lab.
unlucky for me. well it is my fault coz i didnt save a backup. oh well new things to learn. new experience. @.@

let's talk a bit about EURO 08. Holland was the best team so far. they thrased Italy 3-0 and France 4-1.
and yesterday they beat Romania 2-0 using their "second" team.
SWEDEN.. they lost to spain 2-1 and it could've been a 1-1 draw, but Villa scored in the DYING minute. which is the 92nd minute, and before that a Spanish fouled a Swedish but no free kick for the Swedish, instead a long ball to the front and a goal for the Spanish.
it was damn unbelievable . but this is life @@. tonight Sweden will against Russia. they just need a draw to go through to the quarter final.

I can't help but to share this experience with u guys...
here goes.
yesterday I was chatting with my friend about hairs, like what do you want to do with urs, and what do i want to do with mine stuff like that.
so when we were walking to pyramid, he stopped by to fill in his bottle.
then i decided to go to watson for a while, looking for some color cream, to dye my hair.
i was thinking to do gray color but since my hair was quite dark , im afraid it wont turn out to be that gray..
therefore i thought that i'd buy 2 boxes, one is the yellow bright color called the EX HI-BLEACH, and the other one is the Solid Ash (grayish) color.

after that i went back to dye my hair, i dye it with the ex hi bleach first so that my hair will be light colored. after around 30 minutes i finally washed it, and it turned out to be , yeah, bright!
gold, yellow, whatever, it is bright...looks like a lala or in my language is cinko.
i really hate that color.
so i decided to straight away dye it again with the gray color. (although it's written it is best to wait approximately one week if u wanna do another coloring)
after 20-30 minutes.i washed my hair..
and it didnt change to gray! it still that lala color.. okay i was depressed :p

then today,sunday, i went out to buy another cream, which is violet color. (it's actually a dark purple color)
i dye it, then i washed it, thank God it became a "normal" color, no more lalalalalala...
if it's in the dark u will just see black color, but i think if it's exposed to sunlight then it will be quite bright.

to conclude it, I dyed 3 times in 2 days time...
poor hair

P.S i took a pict of me when i was in that LALA condition, so if ure desperate to see it, ask for me personally :p

okay here goes my analysisssssss......

what i can feel from this set of color is that it has a cool feeling, calm, but cold too. A bit dull and not that exciting.

This set of color ...
it has a complimentary color there, blue and orange.
i feel this one is like somehow a combination of calm and peaceful and exciting .

I feel this set of color is some kind of pastel and soft color.

It has dark feeling too, and FALL (you know the season, winter summer spring fall) feeling as well.

This set has a elegant feeling, because it's only black and white and grey. The color looks like those tiles in an expensive malls, and sometimes they have it inside their restrooms too (of course the luxurious one)

The color here is also has a combination of dark , cool color with soft but exciting color.
The blue and yellow is a bit soft but it is a bright color showing the excitement. And on the right part there, the blues show the dark feeling color.

For this one the color set looks like the 'skin color set' in Adobe.
Somehow it also has the fall feeling, but it has a darker color.
And I don't know why, but when I see the colors, I think about tobacco.

This color set has a calm, peaceful feeling but in a romantic way. It's quiet and soft.
It has the 'love mood' feeling.
It also has the "luxury" feeling.

This set color has a complimentary color, the red and the green, although it's not a perfect green. it's more into blueish green.
I think of USA when I see this set, because the color is similar to their national team jersey.
It has a moody/dark feeling (the first three colors of the set) but the red is very attractive and very eye catching compared to the others. So it's not that dark anymore, it's like mixed feeling.

This color set has a "park/garden" feeling.
it has the earthy feeling, like nature, down to earth.
it has the soft, peaceful mood.

This color set has a bit of dark feeling somehow.
it has a bit of soft feeling and calm but it also feels 'hot', as in the weather, not sexy 'hot'.

pretty lucky the lights on the modem stopped blinking like few hours ago, let's hope it will stay that way foreveeer. because yesterday the light stopped blinking only from midnight to afternoon (maybe around 1AM - 2PM), and from that time onwards the light starts to blink again (which shows that there's no active connection)
eventhough we are the one students, it doesn't mean that we're only ALIVE at midnights does it???
